For Bill and Phyllis, it seems like yesterday that their three kids were huddled in this wagon. A few years and 9 grandchildren later, the blessings in their life have multiplied. Their beautiful family gets together every couple of years to record how big the kids are and how young the adults look. Thanks to all for including me in your tradition!

Monday, August 30th, 2010The evening light at the end of last week was spectacular and Hinckley Lake has much to offer in terms of settings. Payton and Riley were happy to let me capture some awesome images of them and their family at dusk. I love the look of sunlight streaming through the trees and onto the tiny fashionistas.
This one should be titled, “High Five Gone Wild.”

As an aside, Payton and Riley are my son’s buddies. When I was putting the images together for this post, he wanted to know why he was not in their photos…while he does have good taste in women, it will be some time before he can sneak into their family photos.
Jane-a-palooza 2010
Saturday, August 28th, 2010In honor of Jane’s 60th Birthday, her family designed a four day extravaganza of fun events to celebrate Jane. I felt honored to be “Day One’s” special event. Watching Jane’s family goof off and enjoy eachother’s company was quite a treat. Jane is lucky to be surrounded by so much genuine affection. Happy Birthday to you!

Monday, July 26th, 2010Watching Jack and Zach grow into little men has meant that with each session, we can do more and more in terms of fun and location. For this session, we stopped at a fun little park in Bath and played with the new stuffed animals that the boys received as birthday presents. (These two are growing like weeds.) We ended the session with a little squirt gun fun. (Mom won.)

Thursday, July 1st, 2010When Kristi and I discussed photographing her son Brayden in Hinckley for his 2nd birthday, I thought it was far away.
Turns out, it’s right in my backyard – who knew? It’s only about 15 minutes away and it was the perfect backdrop for this adorable 2 year old.
He had a great time splashing in the water, flashing beautiful smiles and snuggling with his mom.

Friday, June 11th, 2010Dog Days of Summer
Thursday, June 10th, 2010There a very few moments more endearing than a little girl bribing her dog to smile with a snack. Kiley and Duke are the very best of friends.
My favorite images are often those that make you feel the moment with all of your senses…you can hear Kiley giggle, you can feel the tickly bubbles and you can smell the summer air.
