The first image of baby Raymond is one of the most memorable images I have shot in a while. He was so cooperative for this shot despite some big sibling (of the canine variety) that ensued. I am guessing he is destined to be the guy that the coach gives the ball to when the game is on the line. Welcome to the world, handsome Raymond.
“Big Tom” requested a photo of “Little Tommy” (a future Ohio State Quarterback) with a football. The little man dutifully cooperated and will love looking back at this image when he signs his letter of intent. Go Buckeyes!
Just about a year ago, Miryn and Kyle welcomed Kenton to their family. This year, Kenton became a big brother to baby Mallory. In between the whirlwind of diapers changes and bottles this little family is finding their groove with their sweet little ones. Congratulations!
Newborn baby Ava is such a sweet little peanut and is as soft as she looks. She really wanted to spend the afternoon cuddled up with Mom but finally gave in the sleepies to give us some great shots. Thanks to Kelly and Joe for your patience…good things came as a result!
Baby Will is a delightful little man that his Mom and sister, Clare, affectionately refer to as a “Chunka Monk-a.” (Will…you can blame Ben and Jerry for the nickname.) Squeezable would best describe his thighs. However, his bright eyes and animated expressions are what made this session so fun.
This last image is a favorite of mine. Will’s posture (he has moved beyond the weeble stage) and profile will change rapidly in the coming months…these are the types of moments that we tend to forget if not photographed.
Dustin Jr. will be the best dressed/accessorized baby in Ohio due to the fact that his Mom, Ashley, is the general manger of Tadpoles & Tiddlers (super cute baby store in Bath, OH.) His sweet personality shined through while he was cuddling with each of his parents. I look forward to watching this little man grow up!
The tornado sirens couldn’t keep us from sneaking in this session. We had beautiful light and beautiful smiles before the rains came. Sam claims to be the jokester in this family but Anna is giving him a run for his money. I really enjoyed laughing with this beautiful family!
Lucy and Rosie are living in NYC and came back to Akron to visit their families and friends. It was a big trip for Lucy, who will be three months old soon. Rosie is a seasoned traveler and taught her little sister all about flying.
I have to say that I am in love with this first image for so many reasons. Lucy is a very happy baby but the little frown has to be one of the most precious “non-smile” expressions I have captured. As our children grow, we tend to forget how the tiny curled lips turn into passionate cries. This is a keeper.
Shannon, Matthew and Aleah are counting down the days until the newest member of their family makes his appearance. Aleah loves to talk about her baby brother and all of the fun things that they are going to play together. Any day now…
It’s easy to see why Tara and Clark are so in love with their baby girl, Ruby. She’s soft and perfectly precious, just as a newborn baby should be. At only 17 days old, she already enjoyed being the center of attention.
