If you were to attempt to draw a map of the path a 19th-month-old takes to get from point A to point B, it would most resemble a set of squiggle lines and loops. The first image sums up Genevieve’s path perfectly. Her family is herding her to safety and she is joyfully running away from them. Run munchkin, before your big sister, Simone catches up to you! Thanks to the Herro family for trekking all over downtown Akron to get these shots!
Claire, one of my favorite longtime clients, celebrated her third birthday this week. (My little ones are all growing up so fast!) The palette of Claire’s birthday party was based upon the Sol Lewitt painting (the primary colored painting pictured below) in the lobby of the Akron Art Museum. The mini artists decorated party hats, made their own works of art using shaving cream infused with food coloring and explored the museum. Happy Birthday and many, many more to you!
*Claire’s dad (aka Papa Bird) feed his baby bird (aka Claire) her first pixie stick. Adorable!
