The hazy light of the last days of summer provide excellent photographic opportunities. Elli and Xavier loved chasing butterflies and each other through the fields.
This first image is my favorite as it reinforces the notion that beauty does not always come with a toothy grin.
Max is destined to become a sports fan as his family has a proud athletic history. His Mom and Dad wanted to create an image centered around baseball (his Dad works in baseball.) I think that we knocked one out of the park with this first image.
Baby Miles gave me a few solid minutes of “eyes open” time. That is not an easy task! His head of dark hair and inky blue eyes…you see so much of each of his parents in him (who are, btw, wrapped around his little fingers.) Congratulations to Becky and Mike!
Just about a year ago, Miryn and Kyle welcomed Kenton to their family. This year, Kenton became a big brother to baby Mallory. In between the whirlwind of diapers changes and bottles this little family is finding their groove with their sweet little ones. Congratulations!
The Kneppers are longtime clients/friends. They are beautiful family. We are all looking forward to seeing the day when Olivia and Jen & Mark welcome baby Ainsely home from the NICU. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts.

Newborn baby Ava is such a sweet little peanut and is as soft as she looks. She really wanted to spend the afternoon cuddled up with Mom but finally gave in the sleepies to give us some great shots. Thanks to Kelly and Joe for your patience…good things came as a result!
In honor of James’ first birthday we spent the morning playing and taking photos. He was eager to show off his walking and door opening and running and window patting skills (he wore me out!) While it’s unconventional, I would have a giant canvas of this image of James’ backside while running in my house. I love everything about this image including the crazy hairs, the diaper position, James’ franken-walk, the brightly colored balls…Happy Birthday James!!!
Baby Will is a delightful little man that his Mom and sister, Clare, affectionately refer to as a “Chunka Monk-a.” (Will…you can blame Ben and Jerry for the nickname.) Squeezable would best describe his thighs. However, his bright eyes and animated expressions are what made this session so fun.
This last image is a favorite of mine. Will’s posture (he has moved beyond the weeble stage) and profile will change rapidly in the coming months…these are the types of moments that we tend to forget if not photographed.
Dustin Jr. will be the best dressed/accessorized baby in Ohio due to the fact that his Mom, Ashley, is the general manger of Tadpoles & Tiddlers (super cute baby store in Bath, OH.) His sweet personality shined through while he was cuddling with each of his parents. I look forward to watching this little man grow up!
A year has passed and Miss Ruby is officially a year old. Words cannot compete with the cuteness that came as a result of Daddy blowing bubbles.
